Discounted rates are no longer good enough as every booking engine on the market, offers some form of “reward” to use them.

Whether you book via facebook or Lekkeslaap, everyone is offering the same discounts, making loyalty nothing more than a national price drop. And the “discount” is not to support the resort or bushcamp; it’s to support the booking engine, because the more users, the more listings they can get.

The upside however is that once you and the property owner concluded your first transaction, the booking agent is shoved to the side and future transactions are done directly.
